New Motocaddy Push Trolleys
We now have the two new Motocaddy Push Trolleys in stock.
The S1 Lite is based on the design of the most popular electric trolley on the market. The free-wheeling S1 Lite offers a remarkably lightweight push alternative that's incredibly easy to control. The aluminium frame weighs just 5.5kg - almost half the weight of a fully-laden golf bag. But with the EASILOCK™ base innovation and adjustable bag supports, the trolley is not only quick to setup, but a breeze to use. A removable insulated food and beverage pouch sits conveniently between the rear wheels, while the inclusion of a foot-operated parking brake offers additional control and usability.
The M1 Lite was introduced last year as part of the compact-folding M-Series range, the smooth-running M1 Lite pushed the boundaries of manual trolleys with its combination of performance-led features.
'Compact but sturdy, easy to put together and you immediately feel like you can trust it,' was the verdict of National Club Golfer magazine in awarding the M1 Lite the Gold Award in a test involving eight of the latest push models.
The exclusive twin-tube frame and triple-hinge system allows the M1 Lite to fold down to less than half the size of an S-Series push model. Oversize wheels, a foot-operated parking brake, plus an insulated food/beverage pouch and integrated Accessory Station provide exceptional value and convenience.
Last weekend's Men's Scudamore Trophy was played as an individual stableford with 47 players competing to get their hands on the trophy. Steve Thurlow came out on top on the pile with 38 points with his playing partner Leigh Yates second on 37 points. Three players returned scores of 36 point but it was Ellis junior, Dylan who took third on a count back from Paul Harding and Scott Edgworth.

Hole in One's
This week we have had two hole-in-ones by our members to report to you all. Firstly, Scott Edgworth achieved the Holy Grail in last week's Thursday Night Roll up golf on the 11th Hole with a 7 iron for his second hole in one. Although there were a few members in the bar he got off quite lightly with a £60 bar bill as he also won £30 back in winnings! Well done Scott.
Early this week Chris Fill also achieved his second hole in one in a senior's pairs knockout match. His ace came at the 14th hole with a 7 iron but unfortunately for him this feat wasn't enough for him and his partner to win their match! Well done Chirs.
